Hi Perhaps a forum member can help. Called 03705 237 237 a few times: somebody picks up but nobody answers! Very amusing listening to service reps making various noises in their offices! is this how they are hitting their response times?? Wanted to speak to someone: Don't fancy sitting typing everything on chat.... Re the Z5 Premium: - wi fi connectivity remains almost non-existent. cannot maintain a stable connection or even see some of the networks. Have tried everything short of complete factory reset. I would like some reassurances before I go down that route and have to reinstall everything! - screen goes blank during a call, and then cannot terminate call. ( have checked proximity sensor - all fine). Have to hit power and vol up button together. All known issues. look forward to a response. thanks

Further to lambo's post: The only temporary fix is to restart your phone: that seems to reset the relevant software etc. So this suggests a software repair should do the trick as there is a temporary issue with the comms stack. Safe mode doesn't work and clearly is not a sustainable solution anyway. I haven't got the time/inclination to reinstall all my apps! PLEASE let us know if somebody does try the repair route via PC Companion. And lastly, Sony are in complete denial about this. 'Chat's' with their support staff confirm this!
