This is HARDWARE issue. I will share my experience I am here in UAE and Last January 15, 2016 I decided to buy a new phone and I choose Sony Xperia z5 Premium because I thought it was a good phone. I bought the phone in Sharaf DG Abu Dhabi with 1 year warranty. May 05, 2016, head phone jack is not working anymore, I went back to Sharaf DG to complain and they decided to repair it and told me it will took 10-15 days. I was very kind to them since maybe I am just unlucky that it happen to me. When i got my phone back the headphone jack is working but when i peak in the jack i can see some light inside, meaning there is a hole so I complain again and they agreed that it should not be like that so again they gave it back to service center and again I needed to wait for couple of days. to make the story short they have solve the problem on May 19 2016. June 17, 2016, again the head phone jack is not working! I went back to Sharaf DG to complain and they decided to repair it again and another 10-15 days i need to wait. I got my phone back on June 29, 2016 which is working fine. I was hoping that it will be the last time. Today October 19, 2016, my head phone jack is not working again! so I need to go back where i bought it. i just search in google and I found this thread where a lot of people are facing the same issue. This will be the third time i will have it repair. It is very inconvenience to wait for repair and my 1 year warranty is almost finish, after that what will happen because every couple of months the issue is coming back? maybe throw in the trash can. To those who just bought the phone recently, GOOD LUCK to you guys. I am keeping all service register receipt with me. I am so mad that I want to smash this crappy phone and buy another one.
