I rechecked and you are right. When I want to connect to a new wifi it asks for my unlock code. Still the Airplane mode can be toggled without the passcode or fingerprint. Other than the annoying thing with the homebutton wich drives me nutts the Update is really good. My battery lasts a good chunk longer than on 6.0.1. At 6.0.1 I had to recharge at work when I wasnt going straight home, now it lasts me easily trough the day even after work. I havent found a workaround either that does not requiere you to root the phone, what I don't want to do either... Regards

Hello I like the Nougat update for my Z5 generally good. The Battery lasts longer, and the usability has gone up. Two changes I found so far that where made from the 6.1 ROM: -The Homebutton does not just close the App anymore, but also always brings you back to the Homescreen. (So lets say you are on your 3rd homescreen, open an app and close it via Homebutton. I would want to be on my 3rd homescreen again. In the 7.0 ROM it takes me to my 1st homescreen instead. Always. Verry Annoying) Can this behaviour be changed in the Settings? If not, please change it back in the next update as fast as possible... - The quick settings pull down menu is now accessible from the Lockscreen. In the Android 6.1 ROM if you pulled down on the lock screen you'd only get the Account switcher. Now in the 7.0 ROM you can actually switch on WIFI, Bluetooth or even the Flightmode. You can even connect to a new WIFI your phone does not know. Why do I even have a lockscreen if anybode can just change those settings. (For example if somebody steals your phone he or she can just switch on the flightmode and the android admin does not do anything anymore. No locating, no wiping, nothing.) This is not at all secure and I sadly did not find a setting to prevent this from happening. Did I just not find this setting or can this not be changed? If so, please change it back with the next Update as fast as possible! Regards

Same here after the 224 update my fingerprintscanner started to behave wonkey. After the newest update it vanished completely. Restarted my phone at least 5 times, re-installed the System Fingerprint apps, booted into save mode. Nothing helped. I already had to send my Phone in once for hardware repair for the exact same reason. What is up with that Sony? The build quality of the Z5 is otherwise spottless. How can it be, that the fingerprintsensor is allready not working, not 2 months after it has been replaced...?

After the last Update my Fingerprintscanner stopped working for good. I had to send my phone in to the Hardwarepartner of Sony and wait 1 Month(!!!) to get my phone back. Since then it has been working. Now after the .224 Update the same thing started again. Do I have to prepare, that aftere every software Update I have to send in my Z5 and wait a Month to get it back??? Please dear Sony, tell me that this time there will be a software Fix!

For about a week now my Fingerprint Sensor is working only part time. Sometimes it says I moved my finger to fast, sometimes it works, but most of the time I get an (!) at the bottom of the Screen and a message telling me "Fingerprinthardware not available". I allready Tried to clear the Cache of the Phone, I did a software repair over xperia companion and I booted into Safe mode. Nothing changed. In the Xperia Service Menu it tells me my Fingerprintreader status is "OK". Do you have any Idea how to fix this? I don't want to send It in to the Hardwarepartner of Sony in my country, because I have heard a lot of horrorstories about them and with the Service menu telling me the Status of the Hardware is "OK" they'd send it back to me without doing anything anyway... Regards PS: I'm on Software 32.1.A.1.185. The Problem started about 2 weeks after I made the Update, so it should not be connected

I now tried the software repair over the xperia companion. After this the sensor worked for an hour, then it stoped working again. Starting the phone in safe mode did not help. The same error as before. The system menu still says fingerprintreader is ok.

I don't have the Error that System UI stops, but my Fingerprintsensor stopped working. Everytime I tap my finger on it I get a notification at the botton of the Screen that fingerprinthardware is not available. In the System Menu, the one you can access over the Dialcode *#*#7...etc, it says that my Fingerprintscaner is OK. Did anyone have the same Error and knows how it can be fixed? I allready restarted the device noumerous times and cleaned the cache over pressing power and volume up till the phone vibrates 3 times.
