I actually didnt mean to post that on your post so i'm sorry to flood your post with my anger also. I did, however, find an option where i can end the call by pressing the power button (under accessability settings) but this is not a solution because if you need to put the call on hold, answer another call, use the key pad, turn on speakerphone, these options are still not available and i honestly think sony doesnt care. I am now going to tell everyone i know not to buy sony and in the future i never will again.

So I went against my loyalty to apple and at the end of my contract with them I decided to get the Sony Xperia Z5 compact. This decision was purely because sony's camera is so good and i am a new mom snapping away at everything. Well, this has been the worst decision now that's making my life. The Sony phones proximity sensor worked for the first couple days only that i had this phone. Now i cannot make a call and end it. Now this is a huge problem because It uses all my call time when i cannot end a call, in an emergency when my child was projectile vomiting i had to force my phone to restart which took 5 minutes before i could phone the hospital and if i take my phone in to get this fixed i will wait a month for the phone to come back. Now, how does a new (single) mom function in this world without a phone for a month, Sony? Please don't suggest i type *#*#7378423#*#* (i have done this). I have taken my cover and screen guard off and that doesn't help. It seems this is a big problem effecting many Sony users so please can you help us!!!???? you guys need to fix this problem now!!! this is the worst glitch a phone could ever have so please Sony please! I am at the stage where i may have to take out another contract just so i have a phone that makes phone calls and ends them. I mean Sony, this is the basis of a phone making and ending voice calls so basically the Xperia is not a phone, its a toy! please fix this, I'm begging you to sort this out!
