I had a terrible time trying to get my SmartWatch3 to work. It would pair and then when the downloading was starting, I would get those quit messages mentioned previously. I finally thought it over and decided a new approach. I thought one possible reason for the glitches was incompatible software. Then I (1) deleted Android Wear from my phone. (2) installed Android Wear 1.0 (found online). (3) re-paired the watch and phone. Voilà! Everything worked well. I then waited for the SW3 to do its system updates. I got two updates in a mattter of hours. Only after the last update did I update Android Wear on my phone. In fact, the SW3 did tell me there was a new version of Android Wear.
