Hi, if you still need my advice.   I've never rolled back to kitkat. Since replacement it works fine even on Lolipop. I doesn't drop down, it's just live as much as you use it(like brand new just after unpacking). There's new option in Lolipop "UltraStamina" (with limited applications and absolutely no data), I've used it once, xperia worked from Friday morning to Sunday night and had some power at the end))   On regular usage, I'm able to charge it once in two days.   Here are some screens(I didn't  tried to do its best) No sudden death, and line is almost horisontal when Data is switched Off.        ... Hi, All Sivag08, if you asked me)) Yesterday was the very first day of new battery It has 53% after replacement. Then I put it on charger for all night. My day starts from 5:20 AM with 100% I don't use Stamina. All the day Mobile Data and WiFi are switched on. Usage is medium like browsing, email, Whatsapp chatting and couple of couples of some fun videos As of 23:30 a had about 37%.   It means that after two or three full charging cycle it will be able to live two entire days (and may be much longer with Ultra or regular stamina). And I repeat I'm not even sure that battery is original))  So, back to life)) P.S. During month since first "suddenly drop" problem was progressing... So at last days I had to carry external battery eveywhere with me, and charge my phone after every call and it was terrible and disturbing and etc... I hope, my post will be useful.       ... Hi, Guys. Finally i made a dicision to change battery, because my Z1 compact became too unstable to live with it)) Yesterday I've replaced battery by myself, and I may say that it is very simple. Nabeel, hello.   Thanx for your advice)) I've cleaned it twice, right before update to Lolipop and then after a few days after....     Today I observed terrible thing, back cover has slight bump in upper half, between camera and NFC... It means that batery is inflated and almost dead))   I have to go to official service to replace it with keeping waterproof feature.   Unfortunately)) ... View more

Hi, All. I've got absolutely the same problem. It starts crashing just after announcation of Lolipop (but before updating of my Z1 compact,  may be it's just an coincidence) Hard reset didn't help on KitKat, and upade to Lolipop didn't help too)) Since about ten recharge cycles after first unexpected shutdown my Z1 Compact lives only 10-12 hours of very light using and able to crash at any time during increase of power consumption(phone call or viewing video etc.)  Before first battery crash the lifetime was up to 2 days of medium usage(so 4 time more than now).   I'm thinking about battery replacement, but if there is other solution I'd rather use it))     ...
