Keep selfie camera on the right side of the Sony logo (better angle when in landscape orientation). Add variable aperture to lens construction (Unless diffraction limit applies). Make the camera modules larger (Bigger circumference for more light [I'm thinking more accurate T-Stops] and better edge sharpness). Put diffusion panel in flash modules. Bigger flash module. Anti smudge coating, along with multi coated lenses for better flare and back light control. Use actual glass elements. [Or at least some better glass] Add optical image stabilisation standard, or more preferably sensor stabilisation.   Oh and totally forgot, stop putting more than 12MP into phones, I can't imagine the pixel cross talk with the pixel density into a tiny area, not to mention that the lenses cannot resolve anywhere near that level of detail. ... Here is a big list of software changes that need to happen. Sony despite having a successful and cutting edge dedicated camera line-up, they neglect their mobile applicatons. Some of the changes (to me) just make perfect sense, others are more niche but in my eyes, still neccessary.   Auto HDR - Automatically activates HDR when either landscape or back light scene is detected. Outputs a proper HDR with improved dynamic range, with little other processing. Applies to both JPEG and RAW.   New standard processing - Decrease noise smoothing and vastly reduce the radius of sharpening.   Using a smaller capture resolution results from a full res capture, which is properly downscaled to selected resolution.   RAW option in built in app - DNG capture with embedded lens distortion profile applied and no sharpening or luminance/colour noise reduction.   Matrix metering - Option to select general frame metering.   Put panorama mode directly into scroll menu underneath Superior Auto.   Holding down the shutter button releases multiple frames in quick succession (User defined).   Get rid of 'More' drop down in settings for easier access to settings.   Remove dedicated movie swipe menu and instead add record button underneath shutter button.   More WB options.   Change flash options to Auto, Full (Makes flash predominant light) , Fill (Complements with existing light), Torch (To see framing in dark conditions) and Off.   Add options for focus stacking, along with multi frame noise reduction and image averaging.   ...
