Yes, the repair is performed with the phone turned off.

My phone is 50% up charged the 3rd step i cannot do because my phone is just restart and restart without opening the main window what should i do?

I got the same problem with my ARC. I tried several times to install the PC companion on my laptop but i got a "Sony PC Companion_Web.exe is not a valid Win32 application" message. What should i do? Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
