Done that as well. When I arrived there miraculously it worked and they asked me to come back the next time the problem arose.. so yeah probably have to do it again...

Based on what you have already tried on your own I have to agree with @uliwooly, you should get your device examined by an authorised service center.

are you using a USA version of the device? the finger print is not available in the US versions of the device.

Hey @Jack20, sorry to hear that.
Just as the 2 previous posts above state, this feature is not available in all markets, have you had it available before? I can see that you're situated in the UK based on your account, so it should be available unless your device is imported from a market where it isn't available.
If it simply disappeared, do you remember if it happened in relation to something else, for example when you installed an app or service? For example, do you have an Exchange ActiveSync account registered in your device with a security policy which doesn't allow fingerprint sensors? In addition, could you check to see if it's available while in safe mode, just to make sure that no third party apps are the cause of it not being visible?
