Do you know when you will have a solution to the tethering problem for the xperia Z2?

I am also unable to tether following upgrading to lollipop.

We have found the cause of this issue, it's something that may happen with certain customizations of the software. This will be fixed in the next software update. I'm afraid i don't have a date on its release but we are working on releasing it as soon as possible.

Really?? Do Sony not realise that many users are highly reliant for this tethering function for their work and day to day functioning. I am a surgeon and I require access to data on my laptop in the field away from clinical sites.

This is completely unacceptable and just downright shoddy...

@bibsy If you can't wait.Download xperiafirm then download androxyde flash tool from github.On xperiafirm you download the 3 UK firmware to your laptop.Then install using flash tool.I am sure you will find it so simple to do.Then your problem is solved. As at the moment your phone has Customised UK firmware.

@toothpaste

No, it doesn't look like this issue. The issue here is that tethering is enabled, your computer gets a connection with the phone but there's no internet access.
