I seem to be having the same troubles that the Nexus 5 had, when you are on wifi with lte enabled and your phone falls asleep you randomly don't receieve any incoming sms or phone calls. I have missed numerous important calls and i'm to the point of wanting to send the phone back. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix or an official update on the way? I know i am not the only one to have this problem and it is very frustrating.

Hold on, so you have a Nexus 5 or an Xperia Z3 compact?

I have this same problem with my Z3 Compact.
When connected to Wifi and the phone goes idle, I stop receiving all calls and texts until I do one of the following:
- Reboot the phone
- Cycle airplane mode
- Place an outgoing call
It is the same problem many Nexus 5 users were having, as seen here:

Has there been an official response on this issue? It makes the phone useless.

Hi Seamartin, what kind of SIM card (provider) do you use? does this problem happen when the mobile signal is not good?
And, As I know, some specific band of LTE have posibility to get interference from wifi (2.4Ghz), as you can see, it is not the problem only in sony's device but occured too in Nexus 5.

It behaves the same with AT&T and Cricket SIMs.
The mobile signal strength is good.
With the Wifi radio turned on, but not connected to a Wifi network, the phone works fine. If you connect to a Wifi network, after a period of time you wont receive any calls or texts.
Sony's only response has been "sorry".
