Just got the phone not 16 hours ago! And it reboots when I unlock it. I'm not talking every once and a while!
I see this was a problem with my Z but that thing got busted up after a while and used heavily! So I got a new one hoping for a better balance.

I checked out the z1 post and tried the updates but my phone could not read theme I guess because this is a z1s...

So an Suggestions?

Well I traded it in yesterday because it was within two days and it rebooted for the techs multiple times. Well it's been a day and not a problem so far.

This seems to be different software because the z1s I had before was able to have multiple accounts on the Gmail app, and this one is unable. But no reboot or other problems! So I'm happy!

Just got another phone.
And used the other email app fort work email.

Download sony update service and attempt a repair,it should fix your phone.What software version do you have?

I think the phone came with it.
How do I go about that?
I just tried the sim card restart and looked for updates. Didn't find any. Instructions I found on the Sony care app.

Download sony update service,install,run it and follow the steps given to repair.Did you install any task killer before the event occured?

I did after the fact to See if It was the t-mobile apps messing with the phone but that didn't change anything. I'm not by a computer at the time so I cannot run that app at the moment. I actually should be getting ready for a ball I have to go to tonight for work.

I called sony and they suggested that I simply exchange it...

But I will try the software before I leave and update as I go.

Yes,I suggested the repair because it works sometimes,but if you wish,you could just exchange the phone.

I really don't want to exchange the phone if it'I just going to happen to the next one as well.
This new update has crashed a lot of people's phones Including my Z, and my wife's Zr... Witch is still In For repairs while she has no phone!
I'm really starting to second guess my choice in phones. Now it's just typing in random order. Not allowing me to delete or move where I write in this page.
