I wonder if I can sneak into this thread.
My Z1 (C6903) has suddenly started to reboot on it's own. More or less all the time.
I can not make backup neither with Xperia Companion or the old Pc Companion.
I have tried remove and insert all cards and rebooted into safe mode, but to no avail.
Battery is fully charged.
No damage or water had been inflicted to the phone.
No previous problems with the phone, although sometimes lately it has felt a little unresponsive at times.
Are there any ways that I can at least make a backup?

My Xperia z1 keeps rebooting at 60 or 70 % battery, but I'm pretty sure that is the battery's fault because it's been 2 years since i bought the phone brand new. But now i started loosing apps like Facebook and the small widgets..... It's getting ridiculous to be honest and now i can't even make it through half a.day without the phone shutting down and rebooting on its own. It's getting really slow and annoying at times. I'll consider a different brand now...

And then when I try to backup the phone I get error message:
"Something went wrong. Try later or contact Sony.
220.127.116.11/windows 10 home 64 bits/win 32/NO/C6903/
And on the phone the message on the screen keeps popping up "Connected to PC" and "Install newest software".
The backup process will seemingly start, but will stall after just a short time.

I finally managed to make a backup. Not with the XperiaCompanion however only with the old sw Sony PcCompanion.
The new sw XperiaCompanion keeps repeating the same error message.

Same thing happens to me. It may be caused by updating an app from google store, but I don't know which one (I did a bulk update today). I also updated Sony Music yesterday.
The phone boots, is okay for a minute or so, then all apps start to crash and phone reboots.
It's not Sony Music, it's not facebook Messenger, it's not Skype. I uninstalled them and it didn't help.

Thanks! It didn't show up in CPU usage widget (from developers' tools) - I was hoping to see the problematic app there.
