Re: Sony Xperia Z1 can't connect to 3G,4G network

Hi there,

What happens when you try to use Google+, Play Store, Facebook etc?

Maybe you should try:

Settings >Apps> All>Browser you are using> Clear Data/Cache + Force stop and then restart your phone.

Cheers.

...If that does not help, repair your software using Sony Update Service or PC Companion.

I have an issue will LTE and Stamina mode and when Wifi and data are disconnected over night. Next morning, when i enable the data connection, icon shows that it is connected to Telecom (Singtel) but can't surf web pages. repeat the action to disconnect and re-connect still not successful. lastly, re-start the phone it works. i have this experience a few round and i have not identify what cause the problem. hope sony could locate the issue and fix it.

Re: Sony Xperia Z1 can't connect to 3G,4G network

I'm using Sing Xperia ZL with Airtel 3G in Pune. I'm not able to get 3g network on my phone. I've put my internet settings under "WCDMA/GSM". Should I change it to only WCDMA? And also, how to add APN settings manually?

Re: Sony Xperia Z1 can't connect to 3G,4G network

Go to settings > more > mobile networks > access point names.
Tap the + button
Add name (like Vodafone) then add 'apn' ( it is specific) as from customer care
Then select the authentication type to none and save it

Switch to the newly created APN and restart your phone
You are done
