I know that you want to help us, but as customer you know we're disgusted by the silence of Sony. It seems that the most important thing is to sell products, and then... Cavoli vostri (italian idiom)...
Already tried to reset using SUS, already try to cancel all (hard reset), already went to a sony service: would you like to know what they told me? "well, the speaker works great, it's a bug that sony should fix"........
I hope that using the official support forum, sony will note it and it will help us.

but the only way that the users have to show sony those problems, is the support forum.
as moderator, have you got further information by sony about future bugfix?

I am not working for sony,so I do not have access to that kind of info.But as you can see in the Z1 compact and Z1 section,there are topics with issues after 4.4.2 update.

@alexdon how can we the consumer escalate the problem to Sony ? This is unexceptable do we have to sign a petition to get this fixed. Its not a 100euro phone which I can say ok it didnt work lets throw it out, I paid close to 550euros for this. Is there no humanity. I would be very ashamed of myself if I was a sony employer on this forum.

The only thin I know how to get in contact is the support chat. I did it twice, but they both told me there is nothing known that there is a problem with this in serial. I´m the first one???
