SONY, a simple Fast Dormancy switch would solve this problem and would be highly appreciated. Or even better. Develop a piece of software that autmatically detects whether a provider supports fast-dormancy and adjust the settings according to that.

Re: battery drains by com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup xperia z1 compact

Booted the phone in safe mode and got the same results:

after 2-3 minutes I already had 50 wakeups and the wakeup process slowly started climbing the ranking as battery drain #1.

- Worst day was 17000 wakeups before deactivating mobile data transfer completely.

Stopping the process does not help, clearing the cache doesn't seem to be possible half the times, the button does not react!!?? and deactivating data transfer is no solution for a smartphone.
Is there a way to fix this? If so, I'd appreciate a stey-by step explanation ;-)

The latest available software for Z1 Compact is 14.2.A.1.114

Where does 9.2.A.1.199 come from.

Thanks Alexdon, you are correct, I posted in the wrong thread. The ROM I cited is for Xperia T.

Never the less it is interesting fact that the issue is present in many models.

No problem.I think by changing to GSM only you can reduce the battery drain.Probably this wakelock thing will be fixed.

Hi Alexdon,

One out of context question. How come you have so much information about each and every model. Slightly smiling Face

Which phone do you own personally?
