Re: Z5C blurry camera images / more blur on the left side

And why would the vignetting be not central....
Because the lens isn't.
And if the lens isn't central, you're gonna have blur.

Re: Z5C blurry camera images / more blur on the left side

Hello,

here my Test Pictures:

http://imgur.com/a/9gnIn

First I tried Manual with ISO 50, then Automatic. In order 8MP 16:9, 8MP 4:3, 20MP, 23MP

Here some comparison pictures from my LG Nexus 5 (the old one):

HDR Mode On, 8MP

As you can see in the last Picture of the LG Gallery, I used a Tripod and additional light. The Phone LED was disabled all the Time. Also I used the 2s / 3s delay to have no wobbeling. Pictures with natural daylight I can only make on Sunday.

Cheers

Nobody knows. I don't think this is anything to do with algorithms, it's more to do with a hardware issue.

@CerberusSco:

For me there are two Issues: The Blur and the Algorithm (dis-) "improving" the picture. The selective lack of defenition is more first Issue, the grain the second and could be fixed by SW Update... hopefully...

Re: Z5C blurry camera images / more blur on the left side

no any word from Sony on the upcoming updates.
Really the communication from this corporation to the clients would be better.

They seem not to go out from their desks / offices, tend to be closed for the Clients.
They show off only during some expos etc.

We will hear nothing, looking from previous experience for sure no hope for details like exact dates Slightly frowning Face

Re: Z5C blurry camera images / more blur on the left side

I think my Z5C has blur corner, on the top right, but it's only noticeable at close range shot, I didn't even notice the problem if not for this thread.

But it's not like I use it to take copies of contract paper or anything so I guess the small blur corner won't bother me that much, it's only a liiiiiiiiittle bit blurrier than other corners.

It was early in the morning so there was not much light but I used a chair for stablization.

Anyway, with just that I guess I won't go to the trouble of exchanging it, just ignore it for a while and I'll probably even forgot that there was a problem.
Aside from that the Z5 Compact is a steal I must admit, but if Z6 Compact comes out I will upgrade to it Slightly smiling Face
Best of luck to those who have it bad enough you can't ignore.
