nfc chip???

Just got my xperia z and there is a small chip attached to the back of the phone,please tell me this is not the nfc chip!!!

Nope, just a sticker. It's there initially to show you where the NFC detection zone is (i.e. where you put your phone to connect to speakers etc)

The sticker can be removed. Just be cautious in doing so; your nails are fine, don't use anything sharp like a knife.

The sticker may have been a last minute thing from Sony. Z1, Z1c, and the Z2 have it printed under the transparent layer (ie, not stickers). The Z tablets have it printed on their backs as well (again, not stickers).
