Re: India - Xperia Z Kitkat Upgrade Roll Over Status

When would the latest bug fix update be launched in india?
Earlier today on this forum in another thread i saw that the new bug fix update also doesn't do any good to fix the battery drain issue. .according to that user the update worked in the beggining but later the batterg started to drain just like before. If this is gonna be the case then i don't think it's worth upgrading our device.
Feeling sad because we can't update our phones even though we have got the latest update. :-(

I don't find any fast drain issue after update; infact i observed its stable and due to light weight interface battery is performing good pretty good

Hey guys did you find any lag in the system UI or in Xperia keyboard after updating to kitkat?

My Z now operates like an old nokia symbian phone.... Tooo laggyyyyy. Is there any solution friends or else I'm going to jelly bean again.

Re: India - Xperia Z Kitkat Upgrade Roll Over Status

Review for update 4.4.2 Xperia Z C6602 India (10.5.A.0.230) :

Just 2 Day before I updated my Xperia Z with 4.4.2 and I can say its not as bad as people were complaining. I am not facing any battery drain issue and phone bettery is working even better. what problem I get on first day was lagging when opening settings and notification panel and phone was working bit slow. But as 2 Days passed away now am thinking phone is behaving quite normal like Xperia Z do. So if you wanna update you can go for it.

A review on "Google Play Services" in mine phone its using on 3% of charging which is quite normal, like other people who were saying its using 86% battery "cause of  "Google Play Services". if you read the troubleshooting for it earlier you already know that there's a solution for this bug and I did it on the same time after that update so I didnt faced any issue.

Go for it guys, and enjoy the new software. becuase 10.5.A.0.233 build no is same there's nothing improvment done in that update. and currently people are getting problem with Z1/Z1s, Compact, Ultra series with 4.4.4 which is totaly worser so we guys are lucky that 4.4.2 is not bad like 4.4.4.

Re: India - Xperia Z Kitkat Upgrade Roll Over Status

Does it require factory reset followed by the update?

Re: India - Xperia Z Kitkat Upgrade Roll Over Status

I updated it without factory reset, however a total data back up is always recommended and a sufficiently charged battery too.
