Re: 4.4.2 - Battery Drain issue - Workaround \ Fix

This is unbelievable... Xperia Z is one of the most sold phones, and this problem is making the phone unusable. What a shame. I'm never gonna buy Sony hardware ever again.

Re: Xperia Z Kitkat update ruins my phone!

With the lastest Google play services 5.0.89 on my ZL... the issue is NOT fixed...

Re: 4.4.2 - Battery Drain issue - Workaround \ Fix

The actual Google Play Services Version is 5.0.89, so far newer than the "problem causing" version.

Still, terribly battery draining.

No mentioned workaround did really help (or deactivated most of the functionalities of a smart phone).

Any official statement from Sony here? For over 2 months now I'm living with a highend phone, that's not usable longer than a few hours. I've been very happy with my Xperia Z until the KitKat Update, but now?

Please Sony, let us know when a bugfix will be released! Thx!

how have you achieved this? did you change any settings? of it involves disabling a load of options on a smart phone, imo that doesn't count so am intregued with how you managed the no over heat and battery life

are those the only things you did to achieve this? no disable sync, location etc? and is this using stamina or without? thanks for the reply btw
