Re: tethering error

I found solution.

That error windows pops up because there is no internet service available, though the sim card has proper signal strength and mobile data on but if the internet service is not enable then this error is showing while enabling the hotspot. So there is no issue with phone.

Computer cannot use the Hotspot / Tethering after Xperia ZU upgrade to Lollipop!!

After the phone upgrade to Lollipop, it can still share the hotspot and computer can connect to the shared wifi.

But the computer is not able to access internet!

Hi HimHim, welcome to the community!

Have you downloaded your internet settings under Settings > More? If not please try this, if this does not help and you are sure you have mobile data turned on the Xperia, then I advise contacting your network provider and/or Sony Xperia Customer Care in your region. You can click the link in my signature for details.

Could you upload the picture to box or dropbox?

Which Xperia do you have? do you have any antivirus or battery apps?
