Alram clock wont stop if screen is unlocked

Alarm clock issues.

If my alarm goes off when the screen is unlocked, the alarm will only sound and the screen does not appear to stop or snooze the alarm. The only way to stop it is to restart my device.

Any help will be appreciated

Re: Alram clock wont stop if screen is unlocked

If you use the internal alarm clock then an overlay window should appear on the top of the screen.
This window is on top of any other app and can't be missed. It stays until you:

- press one of the buttons (snooze or dismiss)

- press the volume down button two times, then the alarm is also dismissed.

If it's not I assume you might have changed the allowed notifiations for the clock/alarm app (you can check in settings --> apps

Re: Alram clock wont stop if screen is unlocked

Hi. Thanks for your response.

I get the overlay screen if my phone is locked. Its if I have my phone unlocked, that's when I don't get the overlay screen. Regardless of having an app open or not.

The alarm will sound but no way of stopping it unless I restart my phone.
