I tried to manage internet settings, but on my phone it is not installed somehow and whenever I choose this option it says that new settings has been downloaded, in fact nothing changes and no file was saved in downloads folder. Thank you for respond. After accept it spends some time for file downloading but nothing is saved
To manage internet settings you have to manage apns. The option internet settings just downloads settings from your operator and installs them automatically. To manage apns, go to Mobile network (one option above internet settings), then Access Point Names.
Something is missing in the settings panel then. How do I block apps from using mobile data, or decide whether to download pictures/other stuff using mobile data and Wi-Fi or only Wi-Fi. I could do it on my previous phone, but now even in apps permissions I don't have option about data usage. For example to block some apps from using internet at all.
You can turn on "Data Saver" from Settings -> Network & Internet -> Data usage -> Data Saver. This will prohibit apps from using your data connection in the background. You can add apps to the exception list too.
You can also block specific apps from using data in the background by going to Settings -> Apps & notification -> App info -> choose the app you want to block -> Data usage -> Disable "Background data".
