Re: Best choice to take photos and record videos

Hi @Hafarkw

Yes, you have a lot of options for a lot of creativty and explore!

For the camera you have differents modes:

Two are for taking photos, the Superior auto mode and the Manual mode.

Superior auto optimises settings automatically for many different scenarios. Manual mode is useful when you want more creative control.

Superior Auto recognises more than 50 different scenarios and adapts the settings automatically. As the default camera mode, Superior Auto turns HDR (High Dynamic Range) on and off depending on your surroundings. HDR mode takes multiple shots with varied exposures and then merges them together to make your photos look more natural.

Superior Auto mode works best in situations where the lighting conditions are good and you just want quality results without having to manually adjust any settings. It’s also ideal for situations where subjects are moving fast and the conditions are changing, or when there’s a lot going on around you and you don’t want to miss anything.

You can adjust both the colour and brightness before you take a photo in Superior Auto mode. You can also adjust the resolution  from the default value. A low resolotion is better when you are in a low light scenario!

Manual mode offers several settings to help you take better pictures depending on your environment and if you’re having trouble keeping up with a moving object, you can enable ‘Object tracking’. With this feature you can select an object by touching it on the screen. The camera then tracks it for you.

Since there are a lot, i will give you this official Sony Mobile page! It give you more detail, tips and videos. It´s better than showing you only text! However, feel free to ask anything Grinning Face But go here first, the official Camera area on the Manual guide! It shows all the power in your hand!

I´ll be here!
