Android 9 Behavior

I've updated my XZ2 to Android Pie few days ago and I noticed some changes.

1) Battery drains faster than Oreo

2) Wireless charging is slower than before (?)

3) Does anyone knows what's the optimal battery temperature? I can't help but to feel that the phone feels warm and the OS states it's running at 40 degree Celsius on idling.

Re: Android 9 Behavior

What app or service is listed as top consumer of battery?

Also your item 1 and 3 could be 2 sides of same problem.(and actually item 2 as well, as it consumes power when charging)Smiling Face with Sunglasses

Re: Android 9 Behavior

Check:

- Goto settings->battery->tap on advanced

 - Goto settings - tap on magnification glass-> type consuming and then choose consuming apps

Besides the system has to settle after new software and optimise itself.

That takes some time.
