Why doesnt sony sell through T-mobile when even oneplus is doing it with their 6t?

really puzzling when a phone brand like oneplus is stealing the show and kinda of destroying Sony before they are even in the game.

its not surprise to anyone that sony has big issues with the US market for a while one of them being no VOLTE, No carrier exposure, and no working FP scanner making it extra hard for sony to break in to the USA>

but whats holding them back now when oneplus is doing it???

Re: Why doesnt sony sell through T-mobile when even oneplus is doing it with their 6t?

Without answering with specific names...   you know many handsets are sold by operators because the maker pay for their phones to be carried (or they discount them) unless there is a strong natural demand from the consumer ?

So do you know how much Sony would need to cut the price of their handsets or pay the network carriers to sell the product?

Many shops do not want more than a handful of brands as choice can overwhelm customers & confuse and complicate store supply logistics & stock control.

So you have the retailers only wanting a few brands to carry and there is a balance between consumer demand for a brand/model versus maker support & juicing of the deal.   Sony has in the past decided it is not worth the extra cost to try and get into that tight list of suppliers while the Chinese, well ask Trump about how they have been swamping markets (look at Africa & India too) just to get sales while after Samsung & Apple and any "own brand" models the stores are choosing between a lot of alternatives aiming to be that additional brand stocked...

I.e.   why do pubs only tend to have a Coke or Pepsi   not both... and why do they stock a load of beers but no matter how many drink brands they sell they likely come from only a couple of drink makers

Re: Why doesnt sony sell through T-mobile when even oneplus is doing it with their 6t?

and what im saying is that this is a fail on sonys end for letting a company like oneplus completely outdo them. There wasn't much demand for oneplus before it was a niche market you could only get with invites. and now selling on T-mobile with a 580 dollar price tag you're telling me sony can't sell thru carriers and slash/keep the cost the same while oneplus? lol you're really telling me sony can't afford it but oneplus can?

get real bro

or maybe stop giving sony excuse for being terrible at this stuff? They are just extremely risk adverse and dont wanna compete in the US market because they believe they have already lost.

explain to me why SOny would give xz1c VOLTE but not xz1??
