Screen orientation and proximity sensor not working after android9 update

After the recent android 9.0 update (47.2.A.0.306), the screen is unable to rotate (after setting it to free rotation, and proximity sensor does not turn the screen off during phone calls. Anyone have this issue?

have you repaired the phone with Xperia Companion? have you tested the phone?
