your device has failed verification and may not work properly

had phone since march of this year. got the message earlier this week when trying to reset the phone. it was having issues trying to install an os update. so backed up everything the last hour. and now I get this error message 100% of the time. can't power on without getting it. can't plug it in because I'll get this message. the OS is 100% stock. It is a dual sim model.

I am sorry to hear about this error message Slightly frowning Face

This sounds software orientated and seems you may need to repair the phone's software to resolve it.

Here are some instructions on how to perform this task.

software repair using Xperia Companion

here are some instructions on how to backup, although you may not be able to due to the issue you have explained.
