Re: "Phone Idle" battery drain in 7.0 Nougat

Hi All,

The battery drain is 2 to 3% for around 9hr in standby.

Running on 7.1.1 with LTE data always on.

Re: Battery drain Xperia XZ dual

Hi,

It will only appear if your Network operator supports Xperia XZ.

If your network supports Voice over LTE then "VoLTE" will be displayed.

Also, you can check Settings-> More->Mobile Networks-> to Enable/Disable VoLTE if your network supports XZ.

Re: Battery drain Xperia XZ dual

I have found a possible solution to the drain problem.

Turn off adaptive brightness, turn off tap to wake.

That seems to have reduced the drain by a lot today. I will run a few tests over next few days and report back my findings. Others please try this and report back here.

Re: Battery drain Xperia XZ dual

I just turn off adaptive brightness and tap to wake this morning. I will report back in a few days and see if it helped me with the battery drain. Thanks for the tip @ahmadzkn!

Just wanted to say that this is what is left from this excuse of a phone after the last time it really pissed me off... I regret buying it, $600 gone, and good riddance. IMG_20170507_131734.jpg
