Sony Xz will be my last phone from Sony mobile. The problem is the the latest update (41.2.A.7.35) and Sony has no repsonse to XZ's users.
My XZ is terrible laggy, over heating, high RAM usage. SAMSUNG does right thing with note 7 but Sony is so poor.

Same here... Before it was working perfect tho.... Now since 2 weeks its terrible.... Crashing all the time, cant even answer phone calls

It's the SwiftKey app. I have an F8332 dual sim and have had all the problems described by others since the 7.1.1 update, 2-3 weeks ago, which is the first time I saw this app.
I read somewhere that it was a problem (I thought here but cannot find it so apologies if I'm stealing someone else's glory) and have tested it today.
Go to SwiftKey in apps, force stop it. Turn off all app permissions. Sign out. Restart phone. Don't create an account or sign back in.
I did this yesterday and my phone has behaved completely normally all day with good battery life. Ram is running at 1.9 to 2.1 but releases itself at around 2.15GB and everything is snappy again.

Well, I followed the suggestion from different forums and after two days I can see results. No more lagging, RAM usage down to 1.8 GB, no more delayed calls and finally and most importantly I am getting a Screen On Time of 6 hours + on one charge with wifi all day long. Here is what to do
1. Disable movie app
2.Disable google news feed
3. Disable Bluetooth scanning and WiFi scanning on Location settings.
4. Restart your phone and you are done.
