So about a year ago, I dropped my Sony Xperia XZ phone on the floor, screen facing towards the floor. Then, when I picked up the device, the device no longer could be powered on.
Now about a year has passed, and today, I changed the battery because I thought that the battery had some problem, but the device still isn't working even though I have been trying to charge it for 3:39 hours. The device is warming up though.
What else could be the reason why my Sony Xperia XZ can't be powered on, and what can I do?
Also, before I changed the battery, the red light next to the camera lens was giving red light. But after changing the battery, the red light doesn't work anymore.
Its really hard to tell what could be the problem, assuming that you replaced the battery yourself, you could check if the ribbons are properly connected, if they are then, most likely the issue is the motherboard and that will be expensive, it will cost almost the same as a new phone.
