my phone xperia xz premium
a yellow spot appeared in the top left corner of the screen during normal use.
what should I do in the face of this situation.
I don't have another phone and I'm afraid it'll get worse after service.
I don't trust the service sony Turkey.

@Hobudan, you can try check if it is a software issue (not probable) first restarting the phone and if it doesn't work make a software repair with Xperia Companion (which will delete all your phone data). If that also doesn't work it is probably an hardware issue and it needs to be looked at by a Sony Support Team.

Did you have any luck fixing this following the instructions given by @NunoSEN2 or did you have to send the device in for repair?
@Thero1988, sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same behaviour.
In your case this is related to the hardware in your device and it needs to be examined at an authorized service centre. If you get in touch with your Local support team, they will assist you further with having the device sent in for a repair.

I did contact the local support team and they directed me to an authorized service centre, but that was before my plane with only to days, i will get back to them when i go back to kuwait.
Should I go with the invoice and the phone box and accessories or the phone only should be enough?
I'll keep you posted anyways. thank you

You don't need to bring the charger, the box or any other accessories, the device and a proof or purchase/warranty card should be enough, but you may want to double check this with your support team, as this may vary between markets and I can only really tell what is needed here in The Nordics, where I'm situated.

I too have this issue since one week. Yellow stain spot just 3cm below top left corner. It look same like in the photo shared by @Thero1988

Prepare yourself for worse.
I have now another two spots beside this one, one above the one in the photo and the other one is on top left corner.
And @Sony will ask you to pay for the repairs anyway. Just opening the device to repair a factory defect will cost you one of the most important features of it "waterproofing".
My advice to you is to try living with it. Same as i did.

I dont know why we are paying so much money for sony products if sony is maintaining this low quality that also for a premium tagged phone xz premium. If this case happened only to me, it can be considered as a defect due to any reasons. But if everyone is having this isuue, its sony responsibility to call back the phone or repair it free of cost. Since everyone is having the same issue its definitely due to their bad hardware. Did you tried any software update? If you have tried i dont want to waste time my resetting phone and updating it. I have an extended warranty policy by my seller. I think i will check with them for resolution.

what you are saying was my official email to sony, but no one replied in a proper way. i was lost between the repair center, sony middle east and sony worldwide. they forced me to give up on repairing the device.
don't waste your time on resetting or updating the phone, it did some software updates after this stains came up, still the same.
