Re: Volume?????

Generally Sony's phones are the same(low volume level).Especially XZ and XZ Premium are almost same and you're comparing two of them.At least do not compare with a Sony phone

The figures for the headphones regard voltage you can´t hear stuff that is just 1 db - also I don´t think there should be a direct correlation between mic out voltage and Bluetooth output volume - I own both the xperia XZ Premium and the Xperia XZ and my first impression was that the Premium´s speakers are a bit better but holding them side by side I could not hear any difference.

Using headsets they worked the same on both devices so far - I did not notice any difference neither on Bluethoot nor cable.

But it does cut down the volume after a while when using earphones - you get a notice and then can turn it up again. (EU / Germany here)

Re: Volume Too Low

When updated 45.0.A.5.1 using Xperia Companion (Factory reset, not OTA upadte), the top speaker got too low volume, and the bottom speaker is no bass. However, using OTA update haven't any problems. Please use the 45.0.A.0.229 sound tuning settings on the later firmware update.

Re: Volume Too Low

For those  who cannot hear you may need to return it and get a replacement. Mine is not as loud as my previous stereo phone but it is acceptable. I believe it has to do with the so-called water proofing. My previous phone is not water proof at all so the speaker grills are more open. But I can hear the sound just fine. So maybe yours is faulty in some way? Maybe the speaker grills are too dense to let the sound come through? Maybe Sony can increase the volume for those that need it?

My issue is that when I use speaker phone the sound only comes out of the bottom speaker. I can hear it but I want it to use both speakers like it did on my previous phone. Sony, are you listening? Pun intended! Face with stuck-out Tongue

Re: Volume Too Low

I have tried an app from the PLay Store that has NO ADS (you can donate) and for me it works GREAT!!!

This of course is to boost the volume. Please give it a try.
