Unable to connect any flash USB to phone

Hi. Wanna ask why in Xperia XZ Premium Dual phone settings "Detect USB device" is missing? I'm unable to connect any flash USB C or flash USB mirco with USB C reduction to my phone. I've done repair via Xperia Companion, but it's still missing. Is it done from production this way (no possibility to connect any flash USB) or just software issue?

Edit: Btw. I've done repairing via Xperia Companion few times but this feature is still missing.

Edit 2: Also enabling USB debuge mode in developer options did't help.

Re: Unable to connect any flash USB to phone

USB storage is automounted. There is no need to have something like "detect usb device". But regular microUSB-to-USBC adapters seem to be not suitable for connecting OTG flash drives. Use a USBC-to-USBA host adapter.
