My battery life has been decreased aswell, I used to surpass 7 hs easily on screen time and now am struggling to pass 5:30 hs, not the same usage tho, as Now with Oreo I have less apps installed, and I've been more careful with it, I installed the update via OTA and did a factory reset after updating, without any back up..
I've noticed that the phone on stand by is worse than before (it was pretty good)
Edit : it uploaded the screenshots the way he wanted.
Pics 3, 4 and 5 were taking as I write now
The 6th one that shows 23% battery is from a couple of days ago, shows stand by being worse than before, at least for me and my apps installed
The first 2 ones are from Nougat, with a lot more apps installed, shows 5:30 on screen time, with nearly 50% battery left and a great performing on stand by. I repeat with games and other apps being installed, (now I only have Twitter, WhatsApp, instagram and Facebook) not even messenger.
I also have lots more screenshots of many battery cycles in Nougat.

I have the same problem with battery drainage. No new apps, only the software update. I have a Sony Xperia XZ. Time is 2:57PM now and down to 35% battery, won't last even half the day. Before the update I had about 37% left around midnight if I used my cell more than I have today.
