Any hope for 4k 60fps and 1080p 240fps and 720p 480fps in Android 8? IMX400 can do it!

Any hope for 4k 60fps and 1080p 240fps and 720p 480fps in Android 8? IMX400 can do it!

Hi everyone
i want to know why sony is using it's imx400 so basic?
it can record up to 1080p 960fps! 4k 60fps! but on XZ Premium its 720p 960fps and 1080p 60fps and 4K 30fps! also imx400 supports burst mode up to 30fps at 19MP but on XZ1 its 10fps!

is it any HOPE that sony will roll out an update that can record atleast 1080p 240fps and 720p 480fps (Continous Recording is a must) and 4K 60fps? also RAW capturing, Please Make it happen

Xperia XZ Premiums front camera also supports 4K 30fps and RAW, bring it on Please

my source of imx400 specs

it's possible that despite the sensor being able to record, say, 4K 60fps, the CPU isn't capable of handling it, even though it's one of the fastest processors on the market right now.

The camera sensor is capable of capturing 4k 60fps and 1080p 240fps (continuously) and 1080p 960fps (for a very short time) but the processor snapdragon 835 can support only 4k 30fps. So it can not be implemented in XZ Premium but may be in the future where qualcomm supports 4k 60fps capture. If 1080p 240fps is not possible due to processor limitations, they should atleast bring 720p 240fps like galaxy s8. They should also bring 4k 30fps to the front camera.

So how about 1080p 240fps or 720p 480fps continuous recording?

I have edited the previous post. The sensor supports 30fps burst(in 19MP) but without continuous autofocus(my guess). XZ1 has 10fps burst with continuous autofocus.

Google pixels have 1080p 120fps and 720p 240fps so Sony can bring it at least. I didn't find what exactly snapdragon 835 supports but I think it doesn't support 720p 960fps Grinning Face with smiling Eyes so if Sony wants to bring 1080p 240fps it can!

Would be nice to have 4K 60fps and better stabilization that is included in 1080p. 4k is the most used video mode by me.

Xperia phones have best stabilitation of market.

4k video only  3 axis.

1080 p 5 axis.

4k is more difficult stabilitation
