unknown repair time

I bought a brand new sony xa2 30 days later phone stops holding the charge. I call the service department and trouble shoot, they tell me i need to send it in for repair. 2 months later still witing on the phone. I called several times and all i got was the phone has a faulty main board and they dont have the parts and wont know how long it will take to fix. They said they will not replace the phone since it can be repaird after they get parts but can't tell me how long that will take. I am out of 180 bucks and have no phone and no way to get anyone at sony to care!!

Re: unknown repair time

Hi @zar_t, sorry to hear about this. Slightly frowning Face

The service routines varies between markets and since this is a Global user based forum, I would recommend that you get in touch with your Local support team as they are very well informed about the service routines in your market and how long is it acceptable for you to wait for a spare part before another action is taken.

Feel free to keep me posted!
