Sony Xperia XA2 does not play music in Honda Civic SportPlus 2017

Sony Xperia XA2 does not play music in Honda Civic SportPlus 2017
Hello,

with the default configuration, I can not listen to music from my Xperia XA2 (Spotify, for example) in my 2017 Honda Civic SportPlus. I thought maybe it was the Honda software problem (Honda HFT), and in the workshop I was upgraded to more versions. current, without result. After that, I updated my Xperia XA2 from Android 8 (Oreo) to Android 9 (Pie), also without result. Interestingly phone calls can be made through the sound system of my car.

I suspect that the problem is in the Bluetooth connection, although it is not a link problem, but specifically with music.

By the way, mobile phones from other manufacturers (Huawei, Samsung, Motorola) can play music without any problem.

Add that Sony Mobile technical support does not give me any solution.

Any ideas?

Regards,

Sony Xperia XA2 no reproduce musica en Honda Civic SportPlus 2017

Hola,

¿Alguna idea?

Saludos,

I've edited your post as this is an English only forum, you can use Google Translate to reply and/or post.

There are cars that are only compatible with iPhones to play music through bluetooth and can only handle phonecalls with non-iPhone devices, you might want to check with your Honda dealer regarding this.

Re: Sony Xperia XA2 does not play music in Honda Civic SportPlus 2017

Hi,

where could I find the forum rule that says only english language is allowed?

Anyway, your suposed solution is nonsense: as I already said in my original post, other Android device from other vendors works absolutely right and Honda HFT is able to reproduce the music originated on them.

So, what's next?
