Recommend Casting Dongle to TV

I'm looking for a recommendation of which is the best type of dongle to purchase which will enable me to cast videos and images etc such as YouTube from my XA2 Android Oreo 8.00 phone to my LG TV.

Are there any in particular that stand out?

@cobbler

I'm still using my good old Chromcast (1st gen) with no issues at all till now. I bet the 2nd gen is even more functional.

@Quester

Got one today, as I haven't yet opened the box is there anyway of knowing what generation it is? anything on the box? it's unopened as it's a present.

Edit:

I suppose I'll be able to tell once the device shows up on the phone
