i have an unlocked xperia xa2 ultra on t-mobile with problems.I want to do the software repair but i see a warning that there will be a problem and phone will be locked if I do not know my google account. But I do not have and do not want a google account so I won't be able to provide that info after the software repair. Will my phone be locked if I do the software repair without a google account? If so will there be a way to unlock it.

Hi @kenneth894, welcome to our forum!
This only affects users that have a Google account added in the device, and the warning is there since 99.99% of all users of an Android device is using a Google account in their device to be able to use the Google Play store and so forth.
In your case, go ahead and perform the software repair and you will not be asked to log in with your Google account after starting up the device again as the Google Device Protection will not trigger.
I hope that answers your question and have a nice day!
