Re: Remote Play Compatibility - XA 2 Ultra

Z5 ről váltottam xa2 ultra-ra hogy jobb legyen a játék a nagyobb kijelzőn, erre nem támogatja rendesen a dualshock 4 funkciót. .. Csalódott vagyok ès ha ezen nem változtatnak akkor vissza fogom vinni a kèszülèket.

Re: Remote Play Compatibility - XA 2 Ultra

You know why they didn't make it available for XA2 Ultra? It's the same for XA1 Ultra and XA Ultra, too.

It's not because these models lack the power to run it. It's because these are mid tier models. They want the Remote Play feature an exclusive for those who purchased the more expensive models.

To me, it's a very bad decision. The "Ultra" models have 6" screen, it's perfect for people to buy one to play games, and using Remote Play.

I hope they change their minds and make it available on all Ultra models, or at least XA1 Ultra, XA2 Ultra, and future Ultra models.

Re: Remote Play Compatibility - XA 2 Ultra

I'm a Sony fan boy. I can't believe they did this. It is unacceptable. I just got this phone because I heard all xperia phones had remote play. I got a brand new xperia xa2 ultra for 400 dollars (the amount of a Pro) . It looks beautiful but I was lied to. I spent so much money on Sony for years and they treat us like trash. I defend them against Xbox fan  boys smh. We know you can do remote play on this phone. We don't want to pay for the other models. Do the right thing and put it on the ultra. You will lose so hard if you keep trying to trick people. Do the right thing and win. I was in love with this phone all day until I found out it didn't have remote play. Believe me. I'm a take this phone back.

nowhere in the specifications of this model is it mentioned that it supports Remote Play. if you were "lied to", it was by someone who didn't check the phone's specs carefully enough.

Re: Remote Play Compatibility - XA 2 Ultra

Right. It don't say it on the back of the box or anything. Does not say if it do or don't have it. They should put that on the specs but to me it feel like they want people confused. I'm sure it's people out there like me who like " I'm a get a xperia phone and do remote play" assuming a 300 or 400 dollar phone in 2018 could remote play easily if my vita could and wasn't that expensive and came out years ago. Haha the funny thing is this phone has screen mirror but not remote play. Lmao that is so wack. They made a deal with Microsoft to keep remote play off the xa2 or something? It is not smart at all to keep it off or maybe it is smart to try to force Sony fanboys to spend more money for the more expensive xperia model that's 700. Here is why I'm not getting that new xperia model for 300 more dollars. The new high end model looks ugly. It seem like they trying to look more like Samsung. I like the xperia boxy unique look before the wack upgrade look. Boxy look was always beautiful. Also for 300 more dollars I might has well follow everyone else and get a Samsung phone but for me I had 2 options.I got a Mac so I wanted a iPhone and I play games on the Ps4 so I wanted a xperia. I blindly chosen the xperia over the iPhone because of remote play, price, and camera. So for me. I will take this xperia phone back and pay 300 more dollars for a iPhone.

Re: Remote Play Compatibility - XA 2 Ultra

whenever a phone supports Remote Play, it's mentioned in the specifications. and why should they put a notice on a box that the phone doesn't have a certain feature? by that logic the box should also say

no IR blaster
no CD-ROM tray
no bullet chamber
no razor blades
no quadruple camera system
no wireless charging
no 4 wheel drive

and so on. they'd run out of space on the box real quick.

Or the 300 dollars more for the features you wanted originally?

Or.. why not get last year's flagship Xperia that will be cheaper and also have remote play?

I mean I cant comment for everyone, but if I'm dropping £500+ on a handset, you better believe I'm taking 30 seconds to check the specs.

Re: Remote Play Compatibility - XA 2 Ultra

What's the point of defending them? It's clearly not a hardware limitation. They just disable the feature on some models because these are midranged models.

Or.. they offer the feature to flagship customers as these devices "generally" are far better suited to dealing with multi directional WiFi streans with simultaneous Bluetooth input.
