The charge of my phone does not advance

Pongo mi cel a cargar pero la carga no avanza!!! O avances anza extremadamente lento 1% en horas y aveces no avanza nada en una noche entera, pero al conectar el cargador si lo reconoce y aparece cargando la batería, pero el porcentaje %% NO AVANZA!! 

I put my cel to load but the load does not advance !!! O advances anza extremely slow 1% in hours and sometimes does not advance anything in a whole night, but when connecting the charger if it recognizes it and appears charging the battery, but the percentage %% DOES NOT ADVANCE !! - GT

I have translated your question to English as this is an International forum, please post any replies in English and it will be easier for me and other users to assist you.


Are you charging your phone using a wall socket or are you charging your phone using a computer? Also, have you tried different chargers in order to see if the behaviour persists?


First of all I would suggest that you make sure that the charger port is free from lint, dust and moisture. A blocked port can prevent the USB connector from fitting properly, and therefore prevent charging. Ensure that the USB port is completely dry, and gently remove any lint or dust using, for example, a wooden or plastic toothpick.


It is also recommended that you use a charger that is plugged into a wall socket instead of using a computer (and USB cable) to charge your device.


Another thing that you can try is to reboot your phone to safe mode. All apps downloaded from Play Store is temporarily deactivated while in safe mode and by doing this, you can see if this behaviour is caused by a downloaded app. For more information on safe mode and how to use it, click here.
