My phone already have a same problem dear.... Its a company fault....but they want shutter down their product in indian market..what I say at 23000 of cost such  a cheap product ...lot of issue facing in just 9 days

My Xperia XA also have touch screen issue.

i think the problem is software, why?

so i have the touchscreen response activated where you can see what you press?
the problem with mine is all parts of the screen is showing response BUT! when you drag it the circle thing that indicates the touch response, is lagging way behind. 

The problem will disappear on its own and then comes back sometimes. 

its really weird i have no idea how to fix this.

anyone else experienced this? right now mine is working but few mins ago the screen was barely moving to unlock my screen swipe to left

I've the same problem. It is a hardware issue. When the screen is locked it is very difficult to unlock. When you swipe the screen it does not respond. 

 

Repenting for purchasing Sony products. 

 

Even my friend has the same problem with Z series. 

 

Very disappointed n frustrated
