I have read your posts. I have tryed all you have said .. It still doesnt recieve data . i have no internet setting option, and resetting network doesnt do anything. i've downloaded your software , to be able to reload from your computer and that did nothing. Ive call T mobile and had them check there lines. They said it was the setting on the phone. . So after all that My Question still needs be answered How do you make the phone retrieve data useing cell lines. and yes i have Mobile data traffic turned on.

Hi @11381, sorry to hear about this.
That sounds very strange that you don't have the setting available to download the Internet settings. Is it the same if you try with another SIM card? If one of your friends, family members or colleagues are using a device with the same sized SIM card as you have.
You can also try and reset the APN settings and then adding them again (you'll need the information from your operator).

I also have a problem with mobile data connection on Xperia ZX1 Compact (G8441) after recent update to Android 9.
Some applications can connect to the internet:
- Google maps
- Whats up
While some other apps cannot connect:
- Business Insider
- and many more local apps
All apps work fine when connected to WIFI.

hello i have sony xperia xperformance. when i updated software 8.0, I am unable to use data mobile. I have seen all posts and try to solve issue. but now after upgrade version 8.0 this phone does not have internet setting. Please also send me APN setting as well

I'm afraid that I don't have access to the APN settings you need, but if you get in touch with your operator, or take a look at their website, you will find the APN settings that you need in order to use mobile data.
