Let's try software repair with either PC Companion or Update Service. Here's the download link ....
Download and install to PC/Laptop, launch it and follow on-screen instructions. This process will erase phone data completely.
I hope this works, fingers crossed.

hi how are you gwhispererz! i have i great news here. the things u told me fixed it.. i was getting ready to go to the last step when i thought of turning my phone off just to sort of refresh it.. and boom. its fixed! i can now play with the market and all other stuff.. thanks a lot! i owe u one. :smileywink:
