I have issues while listening to a music via bluetooth with Sony as700bt and Roidmi 2S.
The bluetooth on my Sony X Compact disables and enables independently while I listen to music in my car. In the car I have Xiaomi Roidmi 2s. So I just drive and listen to music and suddently the music stops and I see on the screen of the phone that there is no bluetooth icon in the tray. In a couple of secons the bluetooth icon on the tray appears back and the Roidmi 2s connects again and I need just to click "play" on my phone to continue listening to the music. I can not determine any regularity of the disconnections. Sometimes bluetooth crashes such way a coupe times in a minute, sometimes once in 10 minutes, sometimes immediately after connecting.
The strange thing is that I also have bluetooth headset produced by Sony: as700bt and the problem with disconnections appears with this headset as well. It's very strange. I use devices produces by one company and I get such annoying issuse.
The only thing which unites these problematic devices: the bluetooth version is 4.0 or higher.
Unsing the Plantronics Beats to Go which has old bluetooth version (2.1 if I'm not mistaking) does not lead me to any bluetooth disconnections.

Also I noticed that the volume level adjusts independently for the bluetooth audio output. I just set the maximum volume level on the phone and in some time I hear that volume is decreased and In some time I notice decreasing again (no idication of such event on the screen of the phone). If I press volume up button I see that I do not have the maximum volume - I have 2 steps to the maximum volume level. So I set the maximum level again and in some time the sound goes quieter and again I am able to add 2 steps of volume to reach the maximum level.
PS. The disconnecting/reconnectiong and volume issues appears even after factory reseting the phone.

Unfortunately today I listened to music using my Plantronics Beats to Go and I'm very sad to report that the issue occurs with the headphones as well. So my Sony X compact crashes with any of my bluetooth audio device. I forget that times when I was listening to music through wires and now, in 2017 I am just not able to use my headphones without problems. I'm very-very disappointed and mad due to this.

I also have similar issues connecting my Xperia X Compact to my 2015 Mazda3. Every other time I get in the car, the phone will connect, and then spontaneously disconnect while importing contacts. This usually happens when the system is first starting up from being off, but it will drop the connection well after that on occassion. It then takes a few seconds to reconnect and then I have to switch back to the input again to continue streaming. I did not have this problem with my previous Xperia Z3 Compact.
I recently was on a call with support and brought this up. It sounds like this has to do with the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Since I only recently bought my phone, I upgraded to Nougat as soon as I started using it. So I do not know if it worked better in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, but it sounds like the case. I was informed that they are aware of this and it sounds like an update is in the works. There was also mention of contacting the car radio manufacturers, but luck will vary with that because those do not get updated nearly as much. Seems like a rather large oversight.
Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

I've bought my phone in October and I had android 6 from the box. On the android I wasn't able to use my favorite Huawei Watch because bluetooth crashed 2-3 times during a day and I was forced to restart my phone to turn bluetooth on. Now I'm not able just to listen music in my car due to annoying disconnections. So I own my phone during 4 mounthes and there was no day when I'm satisfied of my purchase because of continuous issues.
Sony promised to update our phones to android 7.1 in the beginig of the year. I was hoping the update will bring bluetooth fixes, but... tommorow it will be already March and we still have buggy android 7.
I think that's enough. I use exceptionally Sony phones since Xperia Neo model and now I don't see any reasons to continue using. I don't want to put up with this. I will try to return back my phone back to the shop.

So an update on this. While I was skeptical, I did take my car in to have the firmware of the Mazda Connect infotainment system upgraded. Since having that done on Monday, I have yet to have my phone disconnect from the system regardless of how I position it in the car. It does appear to have corrected the issue of it disconnecting from my car.
