For the update 6.0.B.3.171 , I am updating using PCC. In step 2, it shows a message in stepwise fashion-->that first disconnect the USB cable then switch off the phone for 5 secs, then connect USB cable to computer and while connecting Cable to phone press the lower volume button.
I am doing it, but still once I switch off the mobile and reconnect PCC doesn't detect it and my update get stuck at that

wait for 5 secs with the phone off. Then plugin the cord in the phone with the volume lowering pressed. The phone switch on step is later. If you have already updated, kindly make a new thread listing the pros and cons of the update for others to refer to. Thank you and good luck. Arnab.

Thanks, when it says 'switch off and wait for 5 secs" do you switch on after 5 secs or keep it switched off?One thing more it says 'keep the volume key presisng downwards while connecting the USB chord'...why is that for?
