Blank screen (hardware fault, not software)

Hi guys,

 

So I tried to remove the SIM card from my tablet (4G version), with a sewing needle. Because I thought it was necessary in order to remove the sim. I inserted the needle into the hole near the SIM-card slot.

Suddenly the screen crashed. I mean it does work (just blank screen), but the pixels don't display any image at all.

The tablet still works. I tried with MHL.

The warranty from 2 years is now over. What should I do?

Hi @MiguelDias90,

I am sorry to hear about that.

My recommendation is that you have your device sent to an authorized service center to have a technician have a look at it. You may contact your Local support for further instructions, even though the warranty period may have ended.
