Album has lost its edit fubctions and use as capabilities

In album, I can no longer edit photos. The edit icon has disappeared. Also, when I select "use as lock screen" nothing happens and when I select "use as wall paper " album stops. I could do all of these things just a few weeks ago, so I presume it is an upgrade problem? Any ideas on how to correct it?

@Jegs

settings > apps > all > scroll to the bottom > have you disable any app/service?

also boot on safe mode and check again.

Many thanks indeed, I had disabled the editor! Didn't even know I had done it.

Fastest resolution of a problem I have ever had!
