xperia t2 ultra dual showing 1.19 Ghz when checked.......

i had bought Sony xperia T2 ultra dual

The specification on the box tells the CPU speed at 1.4 Ghz. But when i checked it myself with apps like CPU-Z and others, it is showing speed at 1.19 Ghz. i also got it checked at one of the service centres of Sony. they told me that it was due to Android 4.4.3 update.

why is it showing slow speed when Sony sold me the phone saying the CPU is 1.4 Ghz. i feel like i have been robbed. the CPU speed was one of the reason why i bought this phone otherwise i would have bough galaxy grand 2.

The new generation CPUs have the ability to reduce their frequency and even become idle to save energy as far as I know.

Re: shortcuts dissappear

All the apps on sd shows the problem. When I move the apps back to phone memory then create the shortcut it is OK.

Re: shortcuts dissappear

Well its android bug..Sony couldn't fix it. Thats why there are some delays regarding kitkat update on other mobiles because they will get this amazing feature too..lol
